A day trip on Ben Lomond

These photos were shot on a day walk on Ben Lomond in June 2008.

The poles marking the track are over two metres tall. In deep winter, the snow can be more than a metre thick.

Tasmania is a beautiful island.  If any of you have time during the weekends, you should try to make a trip and see the places.

The canteen in the ski resort raised an orphan wombat many years ago. According to the laws here, an orphan wild life has to be returned to the wild when it is a year old. This domesticated fella often roams around in the carpark area. Next time when you are there, try to spot it.  It is very people friendly and does not mind people patting it.
